Green Space Definition?

Many people have their own concept of what entails 'greenspace'. In an effort to minimize confusion we would like your definitions on what you believe constitutes greenspace. After hearing input we can provide a concise definition that hopefully meets all the criteria. Please provide a definition, your organization, and contact information. Hopefully together we can find a definition we all agree upon!

Upcomming Events

December 9, 2006:

Friends of Swan Creek Watershed invite you to join the third annual Salmon Saturday at Swan Creek Park. Come by between 10 am to 2 pm to welcome spawning salmon back to Swan Creek. We’ll have tips and tools for salmon-friendly cleaning & gardening, children’s activities, and more. Stop by for a short visit, or come prepared to go on a hike in the canyon to check out the salmon upstream. We’ll have a salmon guide on hand to answer questions.

Come to the Pioneer Way Entrance to Swan Creek Park which is located on the south side of Pioneer Way, between River and Waller Roads. Coming from I-5/River Road, look for the Clay Art Center and Barker’s Barn on the right. The park entrance is just past that, also on the right.
